Our approach

Good law is clear law. We write it that way, and we charge that way too.

Most people come to a solicitor at a turning point, a sale, a dispute, a plan for the family. What they want is not Latin and letterhead, but someone who will tell them plainly what their options are and what each one costs.

So that is how we work. Every matter opens with a fixed-fee conversation and a written scope, so you know the shape of the work before it begins. You deal with the partner doing the work, not a chain of assistants. And when we write to you, we write in English, the contract you can actually read is the one that protects you.

It is a deliberately small firm. We take on fewer matters so we can give each the attention it needs, and we would rather turn work away than do it at arm’s length. If that is the kind of counsel you are looking for, we should talk.
